Bernard Ott
Am Berg

Varietal(s):
Grüner Veltliner
Country:
Austria
Region:
Wagram
Type:
White
Why We Carry It:
We love inexpensive, easy-drinking liters of Gruner Veltliner during the summer, but this grape varietal is capable of so much more. This wine has aromas of fresh nectarines and nuts, a touch of spiciness, juicy acidity, a slightly savory/saline finish. This is an amazingly delicious wine.
Food/Occasion:
Appellation:
Wagram
This wine is serious enough to stand up to some pretty bold foods and has the acidity to cut through rich, fatty ones. This is tremendous wine to pair with Thanksgiving turkey dinner. It complements a rich gravy, cuts through buttery mashed potatoes, and is wonderful with roasted brussels sprouts.
