Val De Meigas

AlbariƱo

Varietal(s):

AlbariƱo

Country:

Spain

Region:

Galicia

Type:

Dry White

Why We Carry It:

Albarino is one of our favorite varietals. It has the crisp acidity of a Sauvignon Blanc with the weight of a medium-bodied Chardonnay. This example is made with no skin contact and minimal lees aging resulting in a wine that is pure, bright, and refreshing.

Food/Occasion:

Appellation:

Rias Baixas

This is a 4 season wine for us. We enjoy it in the summer on the deck with fish, we enjoy it at Thanksgiving with turkey, or before dinner with appetizers. The vibrant acidity wakes your palate up and keeps you coming back for more.
